ARTISAN BAKER, CAKE MAKER AND CONFECTIONER
Anne's kitchen is her happy place!
After creating numerous celebration cakes for big birthdays and weddings, and receiving an increasing number of requests, Peggy's Pantry was born as a way to spread the joy of good cakes and bakes even further.
Having celebrated colleagues' birthdays by making them their favourite cake, or baking for her wellbeing and gifting the results to friends and neighbours, word got around and people started asking Anne to bake for them. Now, Anne's cakes and bakes are often delivered to boarding school pupils across Dorset and Wiltshire. Traditional wedding cakes are requested, and her mixed treat boxes are a welcome surprise for anyone lucky enough to receive one! Christmas time is a favourite for those who have enjoyed her Christmas hampers, filled with Christmas cakes, tray bakes, jams, marmalades, and, of course, her signature fudge!
Anne has recently taken to chocolate making too, where she enjoys using classic flavours as well as creating more unusual blends, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Anne's cakes, bakes, and chocolates are full of flavour, made with love in small batches and bespoke to each order.
And in case you're wondering why it's called Peggy's Pantry? Peggy was a much-loved wire-haired dachshund who made everyone smile, much like Anne's baking now does!
